SOLISIA Signs With UNDERGROUND SYMPHONY RECORDS
November 15, 2008Italian female-fronted progressive symphonic metal band SOLISIA has inked a deal with Underground Symphony Records for the release of its debut album. The band will enter Fear Studio in Ravenna, Italy later this month to begin recording the effort for an early 2009 release.
SOLISIA features in its ranks singer Marilena Stigliano and bass player Andrea Arcangeli, who has previously played with DGM and CONCEPT. According to a press release. the band "boasts a personal and intriguing mixture of symphonic power metal with frequent progressive suggestions and delicate gothic atmospheres, strong technical thickness and a fresh vibe in composition rarely found in contemporary metal scene."
